This exercise starts to develop your ability to focus on a spot, and ride your horse to it. You will select a post and ride your horse from it to a post on the other side of the arena.

Success Tips:
- Use only 1 rein at a time.
- Let the horse rest and relax at the post when you get there, it will help draw them to the post in the future.

Common Problems/Mistakes:
- Using both the reins at the same time
- Horse doesn’t steer when asked: Go back and get the steering working well enough that they turn AS you pick up on the rein. The steering needs to be immediate if you expect to be able to stay on a straight line.
