The Principles of Horse Training
After learning many different methods from a variety of disciplines, I discovered that all of those techniques and methods have the same underlying principles.
The goal of this course is to differentiate between the underlying principles of horse training and the techniques that different disciplines use. While techniques may be varied, the principles of horse training are the same. This course will define the principles of horse training and use examples of techniques to illustrate each one.
The examples used in this course are examples of the principles in action. The examples will not teach you how to train your horse, however, they will give you a foundation upon which to better understand the methods.
“As to methods, there may be a million and then some, but principles are few. The man who grasps principles can successfully select his own methods. The man who tries methods, ignoring principles, is sure to have trouble.”
