Resolving Problems that Stem from Disrespect – Biting, Pulling Away, & Pushing Into You

Hi and welcome — I’m so glad you’re here.

Firstly, a little disclaimer  I used the term Disrespectful in the title of this course because it is such a commonly used term in the horse world to describe unwanted behaviors. We stop there, we label our horse disrespectful and get told that they need to “respect” you more. We don’t look at why they might be behaving in those ways and we take the dominating pathway instead of exploring the root cause.

I used to use the same terms. I don’t anymore, and by the end of this course, I hope that you will look at those words differently and perhaps not buy into them anymore when it comes to your horse.

I also promise to share what I have done to be proven successful in resolving unwanted behaviours like biting, pushing into or pulling away.
